Library Resources for BAS in Hospitality Management

Why use a library?
Key Concepts:
1. Information can be viewed
as a public good. There can even be a right to
some
kinds of information in a democratic society.
2. Information can be viewed
as a private good. Access to some kinds of information may
be restricted.
Some kinds of information are commodities that are bought
and sold in the marketplace.
3. Libraries, themselves a
public good, provide access to both kinds of
information.
4. Libraries provide access to
databases, which are often expensive.
