Welcome to Math 085!
We start this first day with your first graded activity and a few practice handouts. The purpose of the worksheet is for you to get to know some of your classmates, remind you of a few arithmetic procedures, and to give credit to those of you who come to class the first day of the quarter. This is college and I feel strongly that the first day of class is the start of the quarter. In fact, every day should consist of some activity geared to help you learn and the first day is no exception.
Check out this website. The Syllabus, the Class Schedule, the Homework Directions, the MAST letter, and several other relevant items are already available online. Look through each of the sections in this website and each available document carefully.
