Some Terminology
Circuits are made of nodes, branches and loops
Branches are single two terminal elements in a circuit (wire doesn't count)
Nodes are points of connection between two or more branches
Nodes can contain a portion of a circuit
Essential nodes are the connection point between three or more branches
A loop is any closed path in a circuit
