Communication Emphasis

You and your peers will experience personal success each day you participate in the communication course you choose. Together we explore communication dynamics. It is my responsibility to introduce you to communication theory. Yet it is our responsibility to actually experience interactive communication through lots of in-class learning activity. "Hands-on" characterizes my classroom environment--as well as respecting others through displaying self respect. I warmly welcome you to enroll in one of the courses this quarter. Or I invite you to visit any one of my classes.

Teaching philosophy

Communication patterns develop because beliefs influence behavior. My courses offer you knowledge that will flush out your beliefs. You will then be able to impact how you communicate. The consistent hands-on skill building activities during class give you opportunity to experience communication in action. You will appreciate this opportunity to become aware of your communication style and choose to develop into a more effective communicator.
