Do you need an email account? Both mail.yahoo.com and hotmail.com offer free Web based email. Don't like ads in your email? Join our local FreeNet, Seattle Community Network ( scn.org ). Email is not required for this class, but it's strongly recommended: we use it a lot to interact outside the classroom times.
